Join Amanda Addleman as she presents her private studio annual showcase in Marin County, California.
This year she has chosen local favorite, Waystation Marin in Fairfax. The music will run from 5-8p and feature a wonderful selection of young local talent. There will be some students performing for the first time and some who are seasoned veterans of the stage. An event not to be missed!
Do you experience stage fright? This two-hour workshop is designed to help singers understand the effects of performance anxiety and learn effective techniques for managing those symptoms. We’ll delve into breathing exercises for stress management, strategies to maintain vocal technique under pressure, and preventative self-care practices. Discover how to harness the energy of performance anxiety to enhance your artistry. While there is no mandatory performance component, volunteers may be asked to demonstrate techniques for the benefit of the group.

About Amanda Addleman
Amanda Addleman is a New York City-based vocalist, pianist, composer, arranger, and educator. Raised in San Francisco, she blends contemporary folk, rock, and pop with a strong foundation in jazz traditions. Addleman holds a B.M. from Berklee College of Music and an M.M. from Manhattan School of Music, where she studied under Theo Bleckmann, Jeremy Manasia, and others. She has studied with renowned jazz vocalist Tierney Sutton and somatic voicework instructor Loryn Barbeau. As an educator, Addleman maintains a full private studio, teaching voice, piano, music theory, jazz improvisation, and more. She has served as a music director in Bay Area schools since 2009, developed programs, and worked as a guest clinician throughout California. Addleman’s mission is to share her musical perspective through performance and education, ensuring the evolution and vitality of jazz.
Join SF native Amanda Addleman for her homecoming show from NYC at Mr. Tipples. She and her full band will be sharing her original music, jazz-hued popular arrangements, and her favorite jazz standards.
